SEO and AI visibility for telecoms businesses
Search is only half of it now.

We ran the same question across ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude and Google's AI answers: who are the best marketing agencies for telecoms companies in the UK. Twenty-eight firms were named. Only five appeared on more than one platform, and the firms ranking in Google were largely not the firms being recommended.
That gap exists in your market too, and it is the whole opportunity.
Two problems, two solutions
Search engines
reward structure, speed, content depth and links. Standard work, done properly.
AI assistants
reward something different. Corroboration from directories and independent sources. Verifiable credentials. Clear, checkable claims about what you are. And for one major platform, your Google Business Profile and your review rating.
Three different levers move three different systems. Most agencies pull one and call it AEO.
What you can evidence
Credentials are a ranking factor now
When we tested Google's AI answers, it built a comparison table with a column for compliance credentials and scored every firm on it.
In this channel that means the things you can actually evidence.
- Ofcom RID holding
- ICO registration
- ISO certification
- Vendor and wholesaler accreditations
- Trade body membership
Most resellers hold several of these and bury them in a footer, which is a wasted asset.
Part of our work is identifying what you can prove and putting it where both buyers and AI systems will find it.
Baseline and re-run
How we work
Baseline every platform before we start, with a fixed question set, recording who is recommended and why. Build for both tracks. Re-run the baseline monthly so movement is visible rather than asserted.
