From reseller to technology partner

You are not selling what you sold five years ago.

The line and call revenue moved to hosted. Then connectivity. Then mobile, probably Microsoft 365, maybe security and a bit of hardware. Customers who used to buy a phone system from you now buy four things, and they buy them monthly.

Commercially, you have already become a technology partner. Your website has not noticed.

  • Lines and calls
  • Hosted voice
  • Connectivity
  • Mobile
  • Microsoft 365
  • Security
  • Hardware
A diagram of what a telecoms customer now buys. At the centre is your business. Around it are 7 services: Lines and calls, Hosted voice, Connectivity, Mobile, Microsoft 365, Security, Hardware. Lines and calls is shown as withdrawn, because analogue and ISDN stop working in January 2027.

The gap costs you twice

Today

because prospects only know what the site tells them, and existing customers buy from someone else the services they never knew you sold.

Later

because when the business is valued, a buyer sees a proposition that does not match the accounts. Recurring revenue in services the website barely mentions. That is a discount, not a detail.

Part of OD3X

We build telecoms technology, not just marketing for it

TelecomGrowth is part of OD3X, founded by Paul Hanner, a British technology entrepreneur, AI architect and founder with forty years of experience, specialising in AI telecoms and digital transformation.

So nothing needs explaining. Not porting, not LOAs, not why a wholesale margin looks the way it does, not what happens to a base when a competitor reaches your legacy customers first.

More usefully, we have made this journey ourselves. Internet service provision, then telecoms, then AI systems built directly into phone platforms. Repositioning a business so the market accepts what it has become is work we have had to do repeatedly, and it is the work we now do for clients.

More about who we are
  1. Internet service provision The dial-up era
  2. Telecoms The channel itself
  3. AI inside phone platforms What OD3X builds now
The route OD3X took: internet service provision, then telecoms, then AI systems built inside phone platforms.

Analogue and ISDN withdrawal

January 2027 is the forcing event

Analogue and ISDN stop working. Every reseller with a legacy base is either moving customers or losing them.

Most are handling it as a migration project. The ones handling it as a repositioning will come out of it selling more, to better customers, at better margin. A conversation about replacing a line is the easiest opening you will ever get to talk about everything else you now sell.

We build the content and the campaigns that turn one into the other.

The switch off, explained

One client per patch

We will not work with two direct competitors in the same territory. If we are working with you, we are not working with the firm down the road trying to take your base.
